PARADE TAKE 2
See? I told ya. We were in a parade!
(he wasn't fussy the whole time, just while we were getting started and I had him in the sling. I think it was a little too warm for him.) I don't usually post photos of grumpy Gus, but this one is too cute to pass up!

HOT!
On hot evenings, the bet place to sleep is our bedroom - it has the big window fan and the ceiling fan to keep you cool.
It's nice that the cat and the baby can share this prime real estate. Now what about Momma and Poppa?

LONG WALK ON A SUNNY DAY
August and I took a long walk today, all the way up to the grocery store and back. We got out the big stroller, since we had some heavy groceries to pick up.
Gus didn't seem to mind the stroller switch. This one has 6 wheels and tons of storage. He's not interested in the cup holders yet. He's more interested in the trees on Milwaukee Ave.
We stopped at the hardware store to get a few keys made. There were a lot of fun things to look at in the Ace.
The camera died before we got into the store, but we stopped for a second on Franklin and admired the co-op's gardens.

CADILLAC
August thinks the Cadillac is a pretty comfortable car. We showed him the front seat, and now I'm worried he's going to take it out for a spin after we go to bed.
He's mischievous like that.

AUNTS, UNCLES, COUSINS AND GRANDPARENTS
On Sunday, Gus went up to Lake Miltona for some time off from his busy schedule.
Grandpa Bob was there, and Gus had fun making faces with him.
August got lots of snuggles from Grandma Terri.
Aunt Katie and cousin Jonah were very happy to see the little guy.
Gus watched Jonah swimming with Uncle Josh.
Jonah has lots of energy, so sometimes he was sort of a blur.
But later in the day, he hung out with Gus, and encouraged his interest in crawling.
Uncle Andy and Gus's friend Nikki were there too, but they were too busy having fun to pose for photos.
August liked Grandpa Bob's blue shirt so much, he decided they should match on Monday.
Gus showed Poppa the beach in the morning,

August had a fun, relaxing get away. Here's one last shot of him hanging out by the lake.

CHECKING HIS EMAIL
Gus likes to check his email right away in the morning. He is glad that we have a laptop so he doesn't even have to get out of bed!
